As a copywriter and producer at Boston Globe Media, in addition to long-form sponsored content articles, I wrote and edited short-form copy for newsletters, promotional emails, Globe advertising campaigns, and interactive designs that enhanced stories. See below for select examples.

Interactive designs

Sponsored content articles often have design elements to simplify complex concepts or increase user engagement. I collaborated with designers and wrote copy to help bring the following interactive experiences to life.

Boston Globe app campaign

I worked with the Globe’s brand marketing team to come up with “powerful journalism on tap” as the slogan for the Globe’s app launch in 2018. This copy continues to be used on everything from mobile banners to the app’s website.

Emails to businesses and advertisers

I regularly wrote emails and newsletters alerting businesses to opportunities to reach Globe readers in meaningful ways. The strategy behind these emails was always to be clear, concise, and compelling.

Emails to subscribers

I also helped write emails to subscribers and potential subscribers for the circulation team, keeping readers in the know about special offers and goings-on at the Globe, a key strategy in increasing reader retention.
